1. Introduction
Congratulations on purchasing the Mini Multimedia Keyboard.
The Mini Multimedia Keyboard combines a standard mini
keyboard layout with eleven (11) convenient multimedia
buttons and 3 additional power management hot keys.

¾ Microsoft Windows 98SE/Me/2000/XP
¾ Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or later.
¾ 64MB of RAM is recommended.

3. Installation
For Windows ME/2000/XP Users:
¾ Turn off your computer
¾ Connect the keyboard to the computer’s PS/2 port or
USB port, depending on what connection the keyboard
comes with.
¾ Turn on your computer.
¾ For Windows Me/2000/XP users, the hot keys will work
automatically so there is no need to install drivers.
For Windows 98SE Users:
¾ Turn off your computer
¾ Connect the keyboard to the computer’s PS/2 port or
USB port, depending on what connection the keyboard
comes with.
¾ Turn on your computer.
¾ Download our multimedia software to enable the hot
keys on this keyboard; it can be downloaded here:

Back
Function Description
Allows users to return to the most
recently viewed web page.
Advances to a previously accessed web
page.
Forward
WWW
Launches the default Internet browser in
your system.

Mini-Media Keyboard
Allows the user to compose e-mails for
E-Mail
subsequent sending over the Internet.
Decreases the volume of the current
audio output by one level.
Volume
Down
Increases the volume of the current
audio output by one level (every time
the button is pressed). The maximum
audio output is 32 scales.
Volume Up
Cuts off the audio output of the file
being played. Press again to restore the
sound.
Mute
Fast backtrack through the current
track/file.
Stops the audio/video file currently being
played.
Pre Track
CD Stop
Plays a CD, VCD or DVD. If the CD drive
is empty, you are asked to select a
saved audio/video file. Play starts after
you select the file and click on “Open”.
Press the play button again to pause the
file being played.
Play
Skips forward to the next track/file.
Next Track
Wake
Wakes up your system from Sleep Mode.
Puts the system into Sleep Mode if the
PC supports Power Management and it is
enabled.
Sleep
Power
Turns your computer off.

7. Warranty
Adesso’s warranty obligations are limited to the terms set forth
below. Adesso warrants this hardware product against defects in
materials and workmanship for a period of ONE (1) year from the
date of original retail purchase.
If you discover a defect, Adesso will, at its option, repair or replace
the product at no charge to you, provided you return it during the
warranty period with freight charges pre-paid to Adesso. You must
contact Adesso for a Return Merchandise Authorization number
(RMA) prior to returning any product. For each product returned for
warranty service, please include your name, shipping address (no
P.O. Box), telephone number, copy of the receipt or invoice as proof
of purchase and clearly mark the package with your RMA number.
For warranty service outside of the United States or Canada,
customer must bear the cost of shipping in both directions. Please

OR REPLACEMENT OF EQUIPMENT OR PROPERTY AND ANY COST

PROGRAM OR DATA STORED IN OR USED WITH ADESSO
PRODUCTS. ADESSO’S MAXIMUM LIABILITY FOR ANY AND ALL
DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF USE OF THE PRODUCT SHALL BE
LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS PAID BY PURCHASER FOR SUCH
PRODUCT.

consequential damages or exclusion of implied warranties, so the
above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty
gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights
that vary from state to state.
